This issue presents contemporary scientific research in the fields of recreation and tourism geography, socio-economic geography, and physical geography, reflecting current trends in the development of the hospitality industry, tourism infrastructure, and environmental transformations of territories. The first section examines the features of the development of modern restaurant business within the hospitality industry, the influence of historical factors on the popularity of theme parks (using The Walt Disney Company as a case study), prospects for festival tourism development in the Khmelnytskyi region, the development of ecotourism infrastructure in the Uzhanskyi National Nature Park, principles of geospatial organization of the tourist environment in Kyiv, and directions for improving human resource management in a hotel and tourism enterprise. The section on socio-economic geography and regional studies is devoted to the specifics of teaching the geography of administrative districts in general secondary education institutions, using the Zhytomyr district as an example. The physical geography section highlights processes of anthropogenic transformation of forest ecosystems in mountainous areas. The materials in this issue are of interest to researchers, educators, and practitioners in the fields of geography, tourism, education, and environmental studies.

This issue presents contemporary scientific research in the fields of recreation and tourism geography, socio-economic geography, and physical geography, focusing on global tourism challenges, international cooperation, transformations of social processes, and environmental management of territories. The first section examines the development of international tourism under current challenges, as well as the organizational and legal foundations and experience of Ukrainian–Polish cooperation in the tourism industry. The section on socio-economic geography and regional studies covers the assessment of ecosystem services in the city of Chernihiv under wartime conditions, analysis of changes in the contemporary political map of the world, transformations of suburban public spaces, and studies of migration processes in the border regions of Azerbaijan. The physical geography section highlights approaches to grouping geosystems by levels of ecological stress, management of semi-desert landscapes of Karabakh and the Mil Plain, the principles of basin-based water resource management in Ukraine, and the environmental consequences of the destruction of the Kakhovka Reservoir. The first section highlights issues of competitiveness of recreational facilities in the Cherkasy region, the potential for revitalization of industrial sites in the Dnipropetrovsk region for tourism development, natural resource and tourism characteristics of the Zhytomyr Polissia, the development of gastronomic tourism in Zakarpattia, and the application of GIS in the functioning of the recreational system of the Skolivski Beskydy National Nature Park. The section on socio-economic geography and regional studies addresses the concept of "transformation" in military and geographical contexts, as well as the role of contextualization in the methodology of urban studies.
