I. GEOGRAPHY OF RECREATION AND TOURISM: THEORETICAL AND APPLIED ISSUES Analysed and mapped the spread of monuments for T. G. We will look through the history of Revenue Management, how it evolved from Yield Management, originally used in Airline industry to Revenue Management. We will give few examples of results of Revenue Management implementation, analyze benefits of multiple pricing compared to price decline and see positive effects of Revenue Management both for the company and for the customer. Modern tourism artifacts - the innovative objects of the territorial branding This article is devoted to making public the results of research work which was hold within the framework of teaching the class «Innovative technologies in tourism». In scientific terminology the conception «modern tourism artifacts» was introduced; classification and basic criteria of artifact were also defined: uniqueness, modernity, originality, man-made, experimentalism, symbolism and innovativeness. It is proved that at the present time the modern tourism artifacts appear as the markers of territorial attractiveness and may be concerned as the subject of territorial branding of domestic tourism destinations. Canyons as the objects of tourism have cognitive, scientific, recreational and aesthetical value. In the article the basic forms of the tourist use of canyons are considered. In the paper the theoretical aspects of historical reconstructions are studied. In particular, the analysis of the use of «re-enactment», «show», «festival», «living history» concepts is made, in the context of international experience. Some of the trends and prospects of rehabilitation of the festival reconstructions in the world are determined. Attention is drawn to the fact that historical reconstruction is not only a tool for tourism and a form of recreation, but also the way to construction or even manipulation of memory. Accordingly, it is concluded that the implementation of historical reconstructions requires the introduction of a kind of ethics code to guide the organizers of such events. Ways of improvement of tourism activity organization (based on the example of Turkey) Turkey today holds a leading position in the global tourism market. It is result of effective tourism policy and, as a result, functioning of already formed national tourism market. For the purpose of detailed analysis the model of tourism sphere in Turkey was constructed - with the identifying of the relevant subsystems (institutional environment; destinations; tourism flow; the region, that generates tourism activities; tourism logistics circle). Modern trends of the development of restaurant business in Ukraine There were looked out the main trends of the development of restaurant business in Ukraine, particularly the new forms of restaurants and innovations that are used for retention of permanent customers and attraction of the new customers in a competitive environment. Particular attention is given to the review of the development of the franchise networks and conceptual restaurants. This article analyzes the current situation and outlines the perspectives for European Pilgrimage Way of St.James. The authors examined pilgrimage sites in Ukraine which could be supporting points of pilgrimage routes in a network of European Way of St.James. We analyze the internal market of religious tourism in Ukraine, especially areas that have religious, nationwide Orthodox and Greek Catholic shrines. The prerequisites for the development of this type of tourism in rural areas are population decline, rising unemployment, mass migration of laborers. In the Carpathian region the development of rural tourism will expand the scope of employment of the rural population and will give farmers an additional income. Geosophical aspects of the european integration of Ukraine It is stressed on an important role of the peculiarities of the landscape and ethnical cooperation in shaping nations’ cultural and civilization lines. From the geosophical point of view the place of Ukraine in the global earth space is discovered. The European localization of Ukraine conditioned by some so natural than historical and geographical factors is grounded. This is research of human-geographical core of integration of Ukraine in world economic space with the revision of basic social and economic laws and impact of country’s historical development and prospects due to the different scenarios of integration processes in the strategy of country’s economic development. There was prepared analysis of the development country in compliance with use of the main human geographic laws. There was defined the main directions of influence major human-geographic laws on the country’s human-territory complex development and on the country’s competitiveness in global human-territory system. The ethnotoponyms and toponyms of religious significance of the Rivne and Volyn oblasts as components of the ethnogeographic region Velyka Volyn have been analysed in the article. The systematisation of the names of the inhabited localities, their terrains and natural objects has been performed. The significance of toponyms as a source of geographical knowledge was discovered. The functions of environmental infrastructure: the landscape approach The article analyses scientific approaches to the interpretation of the role of environmental infrastructure. The basic functions of the individual components of environmental infrastructure have been defined. A systematisation of these functions has been done basing on the position of the landscape approach to the interpretation of environmental infrastructure. The system of total ozone monitoring with a high spatial resolution of 10 х 10 км2 based on GOME-2 measurements from Metop - A satellite over Ukraine is described in the paper. The scheme of the processing of operational satellite data, which obtained from EUMETCAST data stream, which includes data processing, interpolation and maps generation, was developed. Ecological situation in the Rivne region The analysis of ecological state of several nature components of the Rivne region territory is conducted; the complex evaluation of region’s ecological situation is completed; the spatial peculiarities of its acuteness are defined. Based on the statistical processing and literary sources, as well as field research, contemporary geographical and ecological problems of soil of Zaporizhia region, analyzed. There are major erosion, deflation, drought and hot winds, flooding, salinity, beach erosion, subsidence phenomena, chemical and radioactive contamination, mining resources. The studies have provided to systematize geographical and ecological problems of soils of Zaporizhia region and its solutions suggested. Integrated index of surface condition catchment and index of the natural protection area are calculated, which confirmed the election of Vyjenka basin system as reference relatively Gukiv and Dereluy basin systems. We construct a correlation matrix which reflects the degree of connection of environmental factors on the development of surveying dangerous situation in the studied sub-basin. REVIEWER COLUMN Науковий збірник «Географія та туризм», № 28 містить 40 статтей 64 авторів, які представляють провідні вищі навчальні заклади (університети та інститути) України, Росії, Киргизстану та Польщі. В рубриці «Географія рекреації та туризму: теоретичні та прикладні питання» представлено 21 статтю 34 авторів з України (університети Києва, Львова, Одеси, Харкова, Чернівців, Луганська, Ніжина), Росії (Москва, Перм, Саранськ), Польщі (Слупськ). Привертають увагу матеріали, які надійшли з Ніжина (аналіз сучасних тенденцій розвитку міжнародного туризму), Києва (статті, присвячені національній монументальній Шевченкіані, дослідженню національного ринку вищої професійної освіти в галузі туризму, інноваційно-інвестиційній політиці як чиннику модернізації національного туристсько-рекреаційного комплексу), Саранська (проблеми та перспективи розвитку етнічного туризму), Чернівців (сільський туризм як форма стимулювання розвитку сільських територій Українських Карпат). В рубриці «Актуальні проблеми суспільної географії та країнознавства» представлено 10 статей 15 авторів вищих навчальних закладів України – Києва, Рівного, Росії – Саранська, Киргизстану – Бішкека. Матеріали, що надійшли, розкривають різноманітні аспекти суспільної географії (геософічні аспекти європейської інтеґрації України, суспільно-географічна сутність інтеграції України в світовий економічний простір), топоніміки (етно-релігійна зумовленість топонімії Великої Волині), географії торгівлі (географія зовнішньої торгівлі та геоекономічний вибір України). В рубриці «Природнича географія: теорія та практика» представлені 9 статей 14 авторів з провідних наукових закладів України (Київ, Чернівці, Луцьк, Рівне, Луганськ, Ніжин, Мелітополь), Росії (Саранськ), Азербайджану (Баку). Представлені матеріали присвячені аналізу зв'язків факторів середовища з гідроекологічною ситуацією, сучасних геоекологічних проблем України, розробці алгоритмів оцінювання атрактивності ландшафтів, увагу також привертають матеріали, присвячені дослідженню системи оперативного моніторингу за станом озонового шару над територією України за супутниковими даними. Теоретична та практична палітра представлених матеріалів віддзеркалює актуальну проблематику розробок як провідних вчених України, країн «близького зарубіжжя» та Польщі, так і аспірантської, студентської молоді. Таким чином, в збірнику представлені україномовні, російськомовні, англомовні статті, яким нерідко бракує картографічного матеріалу, об’єктивних статистичних даних, лаконічності та об’єктивності висновків і пропозицій.
