 THE GEOSPATIAL DISTRIBUTION AND CHARACTERISTICS OF TOURISM AND RECREATIONAL RESOURCES OF THE VOLYN REGION

 Aim. To conduct a complete inventory of tourist and recreational resources in the Volyn region, to develop their structure and to make a map of geospatial distribution.

Method. Cartographical, statistical, analysis of literary sources.

Results. As a result of the study, a map of geospatial distribution of tourist and recreational resources of the Volyn region has done, such as: historical, architectural, sacred, archaeological, unique forms of relief, protected objects, ect.

Scientific novelty. The tourist-recreational zoning of the territory of the region according to the saturated of tourist attractions of the region was proposed. It was highlighted The Northern, The Central and The Southern regions.

Practical significance. Maps of geospatial distribution of tourism and recreational resources can be used to improve existing routes and to develop new ones. Statistical calculations allow to more accurately to estimate the degree of saturation by tourist objects of the region.
