THE EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX OF CHERNIVTSI REGION AND PERSPECTIVES OF ITS DEVELOPMENT

The main purpose of the proposed paper is a study of the peculiarities of the development and spatial organisation of the educational complex (EC) of Chernivtsi region. By doing this, we elaborate key approaches to its improvement and future development.

The methodology of the research draws upon the system-structural analysis. The elements of the EC of the region were identified. The relations among them were analysed.

Results. The nature of the EC was revealed, quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the EC of Chernivtsi region were described. The dynamics of the development were analyzed and author's evaluation of its structural changes was provided. The summary of main problems of the EC of the region and steps for their solution were outlined.

The scientific novelty consists in the revelation of the spatial features of the EC of Chernivtsi region.

The practical significance lies in clarification of the conceptual frameworks of the development of the EC of the Chernivtsi region.
