MILITARY LOGISTICS AS A KIND OF TOURISM RESOURCES: EXAMPLE OF THE FIRST UKRAINIAN MILITARY LOGIST HETMAN P. KONASHEVICH-SAGAYDACHNY

The purpose: to reveal the significance of military logistics as a tourist resource on example of figure of Hetman of Ukraine P. Konashevich-Sagaidachny, who can be considered as the first Ukrainian military logist.

Methodology: analyzes and explanation of logistical components of the Hetman of Ukraine P. Konashevich-Sagaydachny activities , in particular during military land operations (Moscow campaign, Khotyn battle) and naval operations of the Cossack army in the Black Sea.

Results: Shown logistic aspects of the land-based and naval military operations of the Ukrainian Cossacks under the guidance of Hetman P. Konashevich-Sagaidachny, which has such connections with tourism: the hetman's monument on Kontraktova Square in Kyiv, exhibition of the Sword of Sagaidachny in the Wawel Royal Castle Museum in Krakow (Poland), Khotyn castle.

Scientific novelty: for the first time in the Ukrainian tourist and logistic professional literature the figure of Hetman of Ukraine P. Konashevich-Sagaydachnyi is described as the first Ukrainian logist as well as directions of use in tourism his military land-based and sea victories related to popular tourist destinations in Ukraine (Kyiv, Khotin) and abroad - in Poland (Krakow).

Practical significance: manifested in terms of both logistics and tourism, and in the sum - logistics of tourism, in particular in the aspect of military-historical and military-patriotic kinds of tourism, as well as in terms of excursion provision for tourists in such popular facilities as: Khotyn fortress (in connection with the Battle of Khotyn, in which P. Konashevich-Sagaidachny participated and thanks to his victories Poland, as well as Ukraine were rescued from the Ottomans), Kontraktova square in Kiev (where Hetman's monument is build and nearby, in the Bratsky Monastery is his grave), the Royal Wawel Museum in Krakow, Poland, where the legendary relics - "Sword of Sagaidachny" (as it is called by Ukrainians), or "The Sword of Vladislav" (as it is called by Poles) is located).
