DEFINITION AND STRUCTURE OF TOURISTIC RESOURCES IN CITIES

 Goal: Analyze scientific approaches in touristic resources classification. Clarify meaning of the term city touristic resource, define its components structure.

Methodology: Empirious and theoretical methods are used - analysis and synthesis, comparison and generalization.

Result: Based on different definitions and classification cleared out meaning of touristic resources in cities. Highlighted and described specific features of touristic resources in cities. Authors found out common (urban environment, historical and cultural heritage) and specific (for particular cities) components urban touristic resources.

Scientific innovation: Investigation of components structure have got next improvements. Defined unique touristic resources classification. Defined specific features of urban point of interests.

Practical sense: Results can be used during preparation and providing lectures on touristic topics, for creating and improvements of touristic routes and destinations.

Key words: Urban tourism, touristic resources in cities.
